When can you sign up for health insurance?

If you’re interested in purchasing health insurance on your own, you have several options for purchasing a policy:

  • Off the Exchange: A Group Access Agent can quote you out for individual insurance directly with the carriers.
  • On the Exchange: A Group Access Agent can assist you with signing up for a SHOP plan with the Federal or State Health Insurance Exchange.

Life happens, and when it does, your health coverage may have to change. If you experience a qualifying life event that affects your insurance needs, you can take advantage of a special enrollment period.
